Dr. Matthew L. Scott Matthew L. Scott, O.D. graduated from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. As part of his optometric training, Dr. Scott cared for patients at the W. W. Hastings Indian Hospital, as well as several Indian Health Service and University clinics. He also completed an externship with Fry Eye Associates in Garden City, Kansas. In August 2002, Dr. Scott opened his practice in Shattuck. In April 2005, the practice was expanded into Northwest Eye Associates and now has offices in Shattuck and Woodward.
Dr. Scott is originally from Johnson, Kansas. He received a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. He and his wife Jenny have two sons, Connor and Logan. |

Dr. David C. Jones David C. Jones, O.D. received his doctorate in optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry, Tahlequah, OK in May of 2002. Dr. Jones began practicing optometry for Dr. Don Diehl in Enid. He then took the position of Clinical Professor at the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry, which focused on treatment and management of ocular disease and provided general optometric services. In 2007 Dr. Jones began working at TLC Laser Center in Oklahoma City and Northwest Eye Associates. He is now with Northwest Eye full-time.
Dr. Jones grew up on a small farm and graduated high school in Wakita, OK. He graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a teaching degree in science and physical education. Before pursuing his doctorate, he taught junior and high school science and coached football, basketball, and track for three years in central Kansas. |
